Saw this pop up on my dash and thought I would reblog it with the source included (the watermark is a bit small and hard to see). Reblogging art with no credit is crummy, guys.
Click-through on the pic for the original posting on DA and go visit the artist’s tumblr here at briannacherrygarcia.tumblr.com. She has many lovely arts and bloggity goodness for your viewing pleasure.
Well now we know Leviathan will have an amazingly squeaky voice.
OMG IT’S SO FUCKING PISSED.
It sounds cute. One big moth and one loud cute squeak it makes.
O_O
IT’SCUTE.
SQUEAKY MOTH EEEEE~<3!
LIL SQUEAKY MOTH AKJHKJDGJKSGAKJAGSOGGIA
Beware the squeak…OF DEAAAAAAAAATH!
O_O what is it, oh my goodness
For those of you wondering, this is one of the three species of the Death’s Head Hawkmoth and it is the coolest of moths. I have one of these guys pinned in a frame on my desk. They’re endlessly fascinating and have a rich history in art, mythology, and pop culture. Go learn all about them and be big entomology nerd enthusiasts like me so I can have someone to talk to at parties.
“The Gentlemen of Bacongo” is a book Released in 2009, by Photographer Daniele Tamagni. The book features a subculture in the Congo where men express their creativity through their clothing. They are part of a cultural movement called Le Sape “a clique of extraordinarily dressed dandies from the Congo. Despite years war and abject poverty, these men dress in tailored suits, silk ties, and immaculate footwear
This is Africa, our Africa
This is really cool
These men are so hardcore fabulous in their rockin’ ass suits that I could not not reblog them.
A video showcasing how truly awesome the Dynamic Event system happens to be. Admittedly, I had NO CLUE that this is how things should go. It’s clear that I need to break my MMO habits during the next BWE.
I’d also like it if it were easier to see which Dynamic Events are going on in a zone, but I suppose that would take away from the immersion feel of stumbling upon them.
This is pretty damn cool. I played an absurd amount of time during the first beta weekend but I never followed NPCs around in this manner. GW2 is shaping up to be a really fantastic game. I cannot wait for the next beta!
A conglomerate of geekery, jumping from video games to feminism to comic books to art to a love of science and then back again. Pictures and words I find funny or heart-breaking or important or not important at all. Some original thoughts and opinions, some regurgitations spiced with commentary, some things pointless, and some things poignant. Just a place to collect and compile these things like a magpie gathering sparkling bits of treasures and junk alike (but probably mostly junk). A place for me and maybe for you too if that's your bag. And it could be because this is a deep bag and it's filled with deep things and shallow things alike. Just some words to the weird.
I 'like' many things on Tumblr. I do so love clicking that little heart. So check out what I like by clicking my little heart up above. You may like this stuff too, it's all pretty groovy.
